We drove through the Karanlık Canyon. The construction of this epic stretch of road started in 1870 and was finally finished 132 years later in 2002.

This road is called the stone road (Taş Yol), and follows the Euphrates river flowing up to 500 meters below. No less than 38 tunnels are carved out of the rock to enable this route.
