Leaving Kayseri, we saw less cities, but more sheep 🐑. We continued east on empty roads, winding through ever higher mountains, and encountered our first thin layers of snow ❄️.

At night we were awoken by the police when they parked right next to our camping spot. Red and blue lights flashing through our tent, they started talking in Turkish through a loudspeaker until we got out of the car. They were very friendly, but before leaving they warned us for bears and wolves in the area. Unfortunately we did not see any 😉.
