Meet Craig 🐘.

From all elephants alive today, he is most likely the one with the biggest tusks. Elephants with tusks weighing more than 45 kg are known as tuskers and there are just a few left on earth. Quite a few of which, like Craig, live in and around Amboseli National Park.

You can imagine that Craig is quite famous, and in fact, just days after we saw him in the flesh, he was also pictured in the Economist. We immediately recognized him by the characteristic shape of his ear. The fame also comes with a dark side though, as his tusks are such a prized posession, he needs constant protection from the rangers.
