The Qasr Al Watan palace took 150 million hours to complete. This is the equivalent of 5.000 people working on it full-time for 18 years 🤯.
We are just constantly amazed by the architecture in the Middle East, and this palace is no different. The main hall is probably one of the biggest rooms we have been in. And when you look around, everything is made up of fancy materials, patterns and intricate mosaics.
To be honest, when we entered the building without too much prior knowledge, we expected it to be older. But it turns out the palace was finished only in 2017, and therefore also still very much in use for official visits and events.
