Several movies, including Dune and the Martian, have been filmed in Wadi Rum.

Its not a coincidence that both movies are space-themed, as the red sand and rock formations make it easy to imagine you are on another planet 🚀.

We explored the area for several days. There are many color variations in the rocks and sand. On the first picture you can see an example of a transition from red to white desert.
