We drove straight past Wadi Dahek. But we’re happy we drove one hour back the way we came to still see it 🔙.

Wadi Dahek apparently means something like white teeth or a white smile. In the middle of quite boring desert, all of a sudden there is a big area with white chalk cliffs in all kinds of dramatic shapes.

A long, long time ago this was the bottom of a sea. And if you would be more patient than us, many fossils like shark teeth can still be found 🦈.
