These pictures are taken on and around lake Bunyonyi.

The most interesting thing about this lake is its depth. Our campsite had signs claiming a depth of over 2000 meters in some places. Looking it up online, all other lodges and guides in the area claim 900 meters, which is substantially less but still very very deep. Apparently there is scientific literature concluding that the depth does not exceed 40 meters. But without having read these sources or knowing how extensively it has been surveyed, we don't mind to keep the mystery alive 😉.
